The Phippsburg Land Trust and Kennebec Estuary Land Trust maintain hiking trails throughout the peninsula.  Another local favorite is the Morse Mountain trail that leads to Seawall Beach, a conservation and research area under the stewardship of Bates College. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens http://www.mainegardens.org/ in Boothbay Harbor offer walking paths for those with interests in horticulture and natural history.
